Building Climate Leaders Through Green Skills
SolarUp360 is a 5-month comprehensive programme that recruits and trains 20 young Nigerians, with a focus on women, as certified solar technicians, green entrepreneurs, and community climate leaders.
The programme combines blended learning, practical solar installation, community climate outreach, and environmental restoration to create lasting impact across Nigeria.

Climate & Green Skills Bootcamp
Weeks 1–2
Twenty Fellows receive blended training in climate change, renewable energy, solar PV design and installation, occupational safety, energy auditing, system maintenance, business management, financial record keeping, regulatory compliance, customer service, digital marketing, and green entrepreneurship.
Community Climate Learning Hub Development
Weeks 3–8
Under certified solar professionals, Fellows conduct energy audits, prepare designs, and install, commission, and test two 2.5 kVA solar PV systems in a public secondary school and a Primary Health Care Centre. Each Hub features educational signage, maintenance guidance, and QR codes linking users to Ecoweb360's digital climate learning resources.
Community Climate Outreach Challenge
Weeks 8–12
Each Fellow delivers a structured climate awareness session using the SolarUp360 Climate Learning Toolkit, promoting renewable energy, energy conservation, climate adaptation, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship.
Climate Action Pledge & Tree Legacy Campaign
Throughout Programme
Ecoweb360 contributes 200 Gmelina arborea tree seedlings. Fellows, supported by Environmental Club members, plant and maintain trees while encouraging participants to sign Climate Action Pledges promoting long-term environmental responsibility.
Knowledge Sharing & Project Showcase
Final Month
Project achievements documented through digital portfolios, photos, videos, assessments, an impact report, and a Climate Learning Toolkit. A Community Climate Showcase shares results with stakeholders and launches the SolarUp360 Climate Fellows Network to sustain collaboration beyond the grant period.

A replicable model combining renewable energy, youth leadership, environmental restoration and community engagement.
Green Skills Bootcamp
20 Fellows trained in climate literacy, solar PV, green entrepreneurship, and community leadership.
Solar Installation
